what if i was your muse?
would you paint me like the world does?
would you hold me close to your heart,
and clutch me with the strength that you gave to mine
would you give into me?
like water gives into the curves of the earth,
like the sun gives into the light of the moon,
would you give your soul to me?
what if i was your muse?
would you paint me in black and white?
or in colour?
would you give me hands, a smile, and eyes so bright,
they'd light up the darkness you sit in?
because if you were my muse,
i would die trying to wrap you in mere words or colours,
your very existence is a thread,
sown intricately into the fabric of my soul,
if i were tearing apart,
you'd be the one keeping me in place.
if you were my muse
i'd paint willows,
branching over a beautiful lake,
lit dimly with fireflies,
while water gushes down the stream,
i'd give this night a golden glow,
out of the fear that someone else will steal my treasure.
am i your muse?
if i am,
would you run away with me in this night i painted?
or would you paint another night to run away in?

why do we look up at the sky so much? when everything we attach ourselves to lies on the earth, but our attachment starts to destroy us, why do we look up at the sky so much? why is the sky so comforting to watch, when everything we built begins to crumble, when we begin to crumble? do we pray to begin anew, or do we pray for an ending? does the sky give us happiness, or does it end our sorrow? some wish on a shooting star, some shoot stars on their wrists and wish they'd stop, some get lost in the colours of the sunset, while some grieve the sun setting on their life. maybe we look up at the sky so much, because the sky takes care of us as such, because maybe knowing that while going through something, we're all under the same sky in the end, maybe secretly, everyone's wishing for someone to understand, so maybe we look up at the sky, hoping it witnesses and understands. so look up, the sun's warm again, let it swallow you, let the light engulf you, let the sky take care of you, look up.
